My name is Joe. I joined Flickr in May 2007 shortly before my wife Katie and I were married. I originally created this Flickr page to share our personal photos with our friends and family. It didn't take long before my love for cars took over and most of the photos I uploaded were of vehicles I spotted in my daily travels. I also used Flickr to catalog my police and military patch collections.

I was active on Flickr from the time I joined in May 2007 until the big redesign in May 2013. Yahoo was always very inconsiderate of Flickr users and the 2013 redesign was the last straw. After this I set all of my photos to private and quit Flickr until July of 2015 after the old Pro account plan was reinstated. I always enjoyed the social aspect of Flickr and leaving was sad. I did reconnect with my closest Flickr contacts on other sites, and remain in contact with several who are no longer active on Flickr,

Since returning to Flickr most of the photos I have uploaded are scans of police patches. By the time I left in 2013 all of our friends and family were on Facebook and they no longer looked at anything I posted on Flickr. For this reason I have not resumed posting family photos here. Also, I rarely photograph cars anymore so I don't upload many photos of these. The majority of my photos uploaded before May 2013 remain private.
