Born and raised in the UK’s Worcestershire countryside, I spent much of my childhood in nature. It’s no coincidence that my photographical interests are landscapes, travel and the outdoors.

As an architect I work almost exclusively on large scale urban sites in bustling European cities. Photography provides me with an antidote to my day job. A chance to travel, explore and wander locally or abroad with a trusty set of hiking boots and my camera gear. For me, photography is much more than capturing a great image. The image itself is the icing on the cake. But it’s the thrill of planning my shoot, preparing my hiking gear, stepping into the unknown and seeking out new vistas that excites me the most.
