I only found Flickr through entering a competition to win some books (in August 2012)....I had to enter a photo of me reading in my favourite place. You had to enter through a place called Flickr. I had only learned a few months before how to use a computer but I eventually uploaded and sent it in. The photo is the first one in my stream. I had set the camera on auto and handed it to my husband to take ....I had the idea in my head but the result was disappointing. That's when I decided to get into photography a bit more. I wanted to try to learn a bit about ISO , shutter speed and aperture so I could shoot in manual sometimes. I looked on You Tube for some photography tips and lessons. I came across a fella called 'Fro Knows Photo' and I'm learning a lot from him. I mostly shoot manual now with varying degrees of success. I'm really loving the Flickr experience......March 2013 update: I've just discovered Photoshop.....I LOVE IT!!!.....I used to be a luddite but now I blinkin' love technology....may not get very far with it but I'll die trying! :)
