I was born 40 years ago in Evry, Essonne (France), and shortly after I moved to Spain, where I studied technology and delineation on a professional training institute in Elche (Alicante), but I became interested in more artistic drawing.
After finishing high school, I did letterer. A Early 90s is when I bought my first analog camera, a Canon AE1 Program. At the end of the decade and after seeing in a movie theater testing Art and Lisa Cholodenko's film "High Art" (the unique descent into hell of a photographer junkie) my photographic vision changes dramatically, always trying to find sincerity in my snapshots.
Shortly after I find the American photojournalists from the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's with whom I will reaffirm my photographic vision of life and things, people like Diane Arbus, Garry Winnogrand, Lee Friedlander, Willy Ronis or the wonderful Ruth Orkin are my gurus-idols-spiritual mentors.
In a completely self-shot and look a thousand times on my way ...
By the time I know the photographer Manuel Lara Cardenas through a mutual friend, but not until a decade past when I take direct contact with digital photography under the teachings of Lara, which I learn and I specialize in the processing of black & white , both digital and analog.
With photographer Manuel Lara Cardenas (students among others, Bernard Plossu, Alberto Garcia Alix and Chema Madoz ...) developed two courses during the summer and winter of 2010 to 2011, specializing in the "Strobit" (schemes lighting using off-camera flashes and reflectors) and the White and black, with both final projects and thematic exhibition on immigration and sport at any age.
From then until now, I have done but stick with the fascination of knowing how it will be something to repent in a photo.
