my photographic focus is very eclectic and seems to change with the seasons. landscapes to street to people and back. is it "make" photographs or "take" photographs? could be either i suppose. i am more into taking them, trying to capture what is there. it does change the way i look at things. the great secondary benefit is i can relive each of these moments as they tell a story. and i can remember with great clarity where and when each photo was taken.

the miniaturization of digital electronics and getting older have changed the way I photograph. Almost gone are the days when I would lug a BIG SDLR around with multiple lenses. a smaller, mirrorless camera and a point and shoot AND a very smart iphone have become my go to cameras. The iphone has become the real go to camera. it has changed my street photography substantially, as well as moving out of Portland.
