From a tiny farming community in the south of TASMANIA I took off traveling at age 16 by hitchhiking locally. Later around Australia with two different sisters, and still later, all the way across Africa on my own (1965). Since then all over the world; I have lost count of countries after someone I met at a swimming pool in BURMA, insisted on counting them for me; 90 at that time. I married a Canadian I had met in Spain and we traveled from our home in Edmonton: sometimes together, often each on our journey, alone. Since his passing, I have continued to travel. We both loved photography.
