I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Environmental Horticulture. WOOHOO!!!

As a result you will find that the overwhelming majority of my photos are of plants and nature in general. Of course I am still trying to get caught up posting all of my photos.

I come from an art background. Took private lessons from ages 13-18. Took every art class in high school that I could and took photography classes during the summer. As a result I became a picky bitch when it comes to painting. So I decided to go in another direction...Photography. Although I would love to take a ceramics class if I ever have time.

Oh and my father was an artist.

I have always liked creative writing as well and started my blog neon taquitos to post short stories.

Years ago I bought a Nikon Coolpix 4300 and played around with that for several years. Then I added a Cannon Powershot SD790 IS Digital Elph to the camera collection. Lately I have just been using the camera on my phone to take most of my photos.
