I am into photography since I can remember. Startet with film, chemical stuff and all the "good old days" treatment, I have also already teached analog developing & handling of these kind of Photography.

 

Back in 2001 I won on a Photo contest the first price, which was my first digital camera; a Canon Powershot G1 with 3.1MP. Then it was around 2000 $... the camera is still in use.

 

Since then I have done all the equipment turnaround until the Canon EOS 5D Full Frame with L glasses.

 

I found out, that the content & value of a good photography has absolutly nothing to do with "good" (expensive) equipment.

 

So I have fun now, to buy cameras as cheap as possible and do my best with them. At the moment I use mostly my little Pentax Optio RZ10 which I bought for 1$ because the front lens is scratched...

Most of my macro work is done with this camera.

 

I still keep my Canon 600D with several lenses, just for speedy pictures.

 

With flickr I have started to share pictures with my brother who is living in London. Now, as my two teenagers said, flickr is like a facebook for photography to me.

 

I love to see new ideas, pictures, amazing work and get critic or (luckywise mostly) positive comments !
