Elisa Spagone walks a long studio and research in Italy and abroad, in contact with different cultures, she meets and works with various companies. She has a formation in different kind of body expressions, (Loredana Furno ballet School, and various Choreographs such as Barbara Uccelli, Michela Lucenti, Hellen Cerina, etc.)

In Paris she works with George Bilal, with African dance Company Vouka, with African singer Maxime Kibongui, and with ‘Les Transe-Mutants’ company.

In 2010 she decides to work on Italian territory, creating her dance theatre research project, with which she aims to go really further than normal enjoyable show.

Spagone aims to feel art more visceral , joining dance, theatre, voice, live music and martial arts, which she practice since she was a child. She goes against the concept of giving a name to each art. Dance represents the connection with something which goes really beyond a concept, and through the body she likes to speaks to emotions. She wants public to feel deeply, she wants to shake and make people think with their stomachs, freeing themselves by the simple mental idea, but letting themselves to be invaded by what happens during the performance.

Elisa researches observing the world and the human being, from a sociological point of view, considering the possible transformation through the creative act, throwing away the contamination, and the fears, the social roles, and unconscious daily acts of the human being himself. Elisa studies the nature movement and try to find the link between an individual in the city, and his instinct which connect him to the all. And dance, body, presence, voice and music leads art to her real meaning, art becomes a prayer. Spagone develops her research on different levels, formative and performative, she organizes workshops, with the aim to transform feelings in an exorcizing creative act.

Today she is working on her own performances, the last one is ‘Magma’, a study on War and Religion as distorted energies of the archetypal ones, Love and Death.

At moment she is cooperating with singers and musicians all over, such as Enomisossab and Mauro Tiberi. Meanwhile she starts to move in foreign territories spreading her passion and discipline. On the 4th of August she performs in Berlin with a new version of ‘Magma’.
