'Street photography is like gambling. You get lucky or you get nothing'.

I love street photography and i'm constantly trying to improve my 'luck'. I also like rural gothic-type scenes and urbex as well.

I live in Athens, Ga which is a small football-crazed southern city dominated by the University of Georgia. We have a funky mix of folks here and youthful nightlife year round. The hometown of famous bands R.E.M. and the B-52s, Athens continues to have a very active and diverse music scene and some great little music venues. All of this makes it a pretty good location for regular street-type photography.

I love that flickr affords me the chance to learn from and be inspired by so many nice and talented photographers. Here I get to visit places i've never actually been. I will follow and interact with anyone who is consistent and reasonably reciprocating. But honestly I find most folks are just sort of 'passing through' on flickr - which is fine, too.
