Just a super nature lover who one day took her camera along with....I started posting photos on FB and my friends encouraged me to do more, more, more. I have no formal photographic education, my camera isn't much more than a point and shoot but I pull a good one out of it every now and again. No botany or biography education either. That's why I need so much help with identifying things, I can surf the internet for hours trying to come up with the correct ID!! I love digital photography, It is a God send for a nature lover and loner like myself, so that I can share with others the amazing beauty that my eyes see while out and about. I love Maryland and am a proud Appalachian; born and raised in Allegany County, I work in Washington County and often visit Garrett County. My job is a dismal, soul crushing so I spend lots of time with nature to try to balance that out. MBP has been so much fun for me!! I love it as it gives me yet another reason to go on an outdoor adventure, AND something really worthwhile to do with my photos!
