All these years, I have wandered back and forth, searching; ever looking for something that never really existed, like perfection. I loved and fell out of love many times over. I cared so much that it hurt. I dreamed and saw how they slipped through my fingers. I am still waiting for that one true shining moment that will define my existence and testify the validity of my survival. I have the gentle knowledge of my weaknesses and deficiencies. Life will not always go my way. I realize that I cant have everything I wanted in this lifetime but I can still sleep in peace at night because I know that tomorrow is going to be a better day for me. I hear a symphony within silence. Life is a journey through time, filled with many choices. Each of us will experience life in our own unique way. And it will be unfair at times, and those are the times when we have to maintain our faith and never let go. I will always remember that history is filled with incredible accomplishments of those who were conceived as foolish enough to believe. Happiness is a choice, and as long as I am in the drivers seat, I am gonna be alright. And in this world of comparisons and conformity, I make my own statement and honor my own truth. I will let others experience the real me.
