Hi I'm John and I'm way over 21( just became a 30's something)

Basically, I always loved photography but I hated getting my picture taken for fear of braking someone's camera lense. However, I've only recently taken up photography as a serious hobby. I figure if I'm going to learn angles and lighting to take a person's picture, I might as well practice on myself. While it would be fun to take portraits, I would really like to learn how to shoot natural or outdoor settings, and believe me, a lot of you Flickr photographers have provided me with lots of inspiration, as well as envy of your talents.
