I've been taking photos since I was 19. So some of my photos are scanned 35mm slides done by a professional lab. Some are just snapshots; and they will never win awards, but I post them anyway, along with family photos, so that they will be preserved ----Mom and Dad's old B&W photos are in remarkable shape, considering they are from the 40's and 50's (I haven't started that project yet, mainly because it will take forever to scan/copy/photograph the prints; ----- the negatives, I will send out to a lab)
I also post amateur video taken by me. Though most of my videos are poor technically, (Steven Spielberg has nothing to worry about) they have sentimental value; and some have historical value ( Eric Garner March video, Occupy Wall Street video, and currently the marches for Palestine in New York City which I am proud to photograph, video, and march in)) so I post them here and on youtube to preserve them )
So forgive me if some photos and videos are of poor quality. The memories are priceless. I do hope you like some of them.
I shoot with a Sony RX100M7 ( The Sony RX100M1 1st generation died after five years of cruel and unusual punishment--I recently got lucky on Ebay and bought a used RX100M7 with a a gimbal for a great price-- I also shoot with a Samsung NX500--- it's noisy and OIS broke so I would never recommend any Samsung cameras) (Update: The Samsung NX500 died-- RIP you noisy piece of junk) Just got a full frame Sony A7ii. It's an old camera, but a good camera for still photography imho. (Update Feb. 2026: Just bought a used Sony A7R ii which is a lot better than the A7 ii--the A7Rii is old but it does the job-- 42MB and fast enough) I am mostly a street photographer who travels sometimes. ) If AP or Reuters needs a guy to photograph Gaza sneak me in and I'll get the photos out. I figure at my age who gives a shit if I die, at least I get to photograph the truth of what Israel is doing to the Palestinians. Palestinians are the most noble people in the world. Free Palestine!)
There are exceptional photographers on flickr. It inspires me to keep learning.
Hope you enjoy my photos. I try to keep posting both old photos I took with 35mm cameras. and new ones with my digital cameras. every week. I also try to preserve old "Found Photos" I find at flea markets.
Thank you for visiting my flickr page.
