I established this account to upload photos to a Wikipedia photo contest we wound up not having. I have generally used it for photos I took that I liked but there was really no need to upload to Commons, i.e. pure beauty shots, or just interesting things.

Occasionally, though, I have cross-uploaded here, such as with the pictures I took rafting down the Firth River in July 2015, since Nahanni organized a group for those of us on the trip to upload our pictures, and I have wanted to share those as widely as possible since that's such a beautiful region that very few people get to visit.

Generally, if my work here is licensed under full copyright, it's something I meant for Flickr. Images licensed as CC-BY-SA are shared with Wikimedia Commons.
