Welcome and thanks for viewing my photos. I especially appreciate the people who take the time to make comments on my work. I enjoy having a manageable list of contacts and viewing their work, especially when I know what part of the world they live in and they identify what I am seeing.

All my life I've been passionate about photography and, now that I'm retired from my position as a legal assistant, I finally have the time to pursue it to my heart's content. I especially like photographing butterflies, birds and the wonders of nature all around us. Another of my favourite pastimes is hiking in the woods so combining this with photography is a perfect fit. All my images are single shot and handheld as I really enjoy the challenge.
