Being a designer, we're taught to be very selective of which works to show. Even though I take hundreds of photos each outing, only the few best ones gets processed and uploaded. (I'm already over 17k shutter releases in 7 months!)

But I love taking pictures as a visual journal. Every picture I take, I can remember exactly what happened before and after then. Since I take pictures all day long when I travel, it's a great way for me to remember almost every single moment. Without pictures, I would have a hard time remembering small, yet significant events.

And because of that, I've found the slr to be too much trouble to take out each time I want to document something. Now I'm looking for a pocket P&S to help me on the journal side of shots..
