Hello everyone. I am from Iowa, near the driftless area. If you are not familiar with the driftless area's geography I encourage you to google it. Also if you are not acquainted with our geographical area, Iowa is in the upper Midwest of the United States where corn, soybeans, pigs, and cattle are king. While pigs are slaughtered here at about 6-months, there are 3x as many pigs here, as people. You generally will not see pigs here, as most reside indoors these days.

Most of my family of origin now lives in Arizona, the desert Southwest of the United States, so you will see quite a few photos from the desert Southwest here.

I have been shooting with Pentax cameras since 1983. I currently shoot with a Pentax K-3, and a Pentax K-3 iii, and a number of different lenses. I post a wide variety of different shots, from sports, landscape, animals, flowers, and even a few people.

My other passion is gardening, especially growing roses. These two passions meet during growing season.
