The General aim of Bike the Track/Track the Bike (B-TRACK-B) is to reduce the focus on the family car as the primary tool used for travel to urban activities. These daily leisure time activities include trips concerning family outings and teenagers’ visits to the shopping-mall, parks, cinema, concerts, sports clubs and large events such as football matches. In the events local authorities, local leisure activities and large event organizers will be key actors in the project.

Our aim is to persuade families with children to cycle to their leisure activities, which is fun already, by letting them register their cycle tracks through RFID counter, gps or km-counters and communicate/advocate about it.

B-TRACK-B will organise events in 6 cities in 6 different countries within 3 years starting from April 2012.

B-TRACK-B is an IEE programme project with 9 European partners including 4 cities and 2 regions.
