My name is Joan Bateman-Cowan. I am the owner and premiere photographer of Gainsboro Studio. I am a huge fan of nooks and crannies! I enjoy seeking and finding the stuff that will spark creativity in all it's forms! Unique ways of seeing the world can ultimately excite my work and passions. I illuminate an artistic perspective on life and my subjects. I am a photographer ..... And when I say that, I mean it is who I am, not just what I do. I am not a "niche" photographer; although I do own one of the largest portrait studios in my area.... But I thrive when using all possible opportunities to express what is unseen and make it seen.
