Fledgling, self-taught photographer looking to expand, develop, refine and update my portfolio. Interested in portraiture and expressive images with wit, flair and dynamism from high key and textured black and whites to vibrant colour shots, subtle and sensitive portraits and powerful physique studies.

All the images have been taken by me and belong to me.

At present I am exploring visual geometry and the influences integral to the appreciation of an image. Central to this is the moral dialectic of seeing and being seen - or watching and being watched even. My images may include references to eyes, to seeing and vision - sometimes subtle, sometimes more glaring and clumsily obvious. More often than not, my models will be looking out at you, matching your gaze, confident and powerful in their knowledge that they look superb. This raises interesting concepts - they want to be seen : you want to see them. You CAN see them : yet they can't see you. Does your need to see the model override this though, does it hand the balance back - or does it continually shift.

I thank the models I have worked with so far who have participated in exploring this. Each and every one of them has been superb.
