I got my first camera when I was 10 years of age. Just a Zeiss Box Tengor from my grandfather, with a fixed lens. There where 3 aperture settings (22-16-11) and 3 distances ( 3-6, 6-20, 20 mtr.or more). I still have it. Then I got a Praktica reflex which I used for about ten years. After the Praktica I bought a Pentax ME reflex camera with some lenses and I made a lot of slides.
A compilation of all cameras I have or had.
I stopped photographing for several years, because I bought a Video Camera. First with the Compact-VHS tapes and the second one was with the digital video tape. I don't use it anymore. After watching the holiday videos for two or three times it was not interesting anymore.
I started to take pictures again about 4 years ago when I bought my first digital camera. The Canon IXUS 330. Still in use, however I prefere a reflex camera with exchangeable lenses and adjustable settings, so last November 2006, I bought a Pentax ist DL and now I can also use the old lenses from my Pentax ME.
