I inherited my fascination with trains from my late father Hunter Watkins who grew up in Greenwood, SC and started "train watching" in 1938. He was never a serious photographer but I do have some of his pictures and will share them her as time permits.

My earliest memories are from the early 1960s and while not great technically I have included some of my pictures from my childhood.

I have always lived in the Greenville/Spartanburg area but have ridden trains in 42 states so some pictures from other areas find their way on here. In 2014 I got a DSLR camera and started snapping away.
