Current and former members of the RAF Mountain Rescue Service that was created from an ad hoc system in 1943 to rescue injured aircrew in the UK. It grew with teams in Cyprus, & the Middle East and Hong Kong. We, the Mountain Rescue Association, were formed in 1993 and this collection aims to preserve as many photographs from both the operational MRS Teams and reunions and events held to mark them.
