I am getting older thank goodness, born in the Middlewest, I enjoy my work as a small business owner. My wife and kids are my biggest source of joy and pride. Playing guitar is another passion that has never been far from reach. Food is right up there too.

I was into photography about 1990. Then fell away from it, though never far away. I've picked it up again early 2007. Fell right back into the passion. I see things clearer and feel things deeper because of the camera.

Finding Flickr has given me an outlet to express scenes and ideas unique to my vision. Here, in Flickr, there is a network of individuals as special as their pictures. They care about the world they live in without the barriers of politics, religion and race. Yet, we can still have our own opinion. I appreciate that no one minds that my skills are average. There is a constant positive push to achieve the better photo by everyone. This is the reason the World Wide Web was formed for sharing equal and positive ideas across the globe.

Flickr has reaffirmed my idea that the world isn't a bad place full of bad people. That the majority of humanity cares about the planet and its people despite media opinion.
