Welcome to our Flickr site.

This site is designed to act as a ‘liaison’ among all Larimer family members. We will be concentrating on the descendants of Evert Ray and Winona Rosetta Sabrina (Eversole) Larimer. Hopefully it will become a reference whereby all members of our outstanding family can interrelate their photos and information, and continually update. This project emanates from the residence of Silas and “Meche” Larimer (mrsilas@verizon.net), but when newcomers accept the Flickr invitation, (and perhaps add material onto their own site), we will be able to use them as a cooperative vehicle.

Among the relative material will be photographs, comments, and other information dedicated to the Larimer family. The different areas of this Flickr site will easily be accessed by using the handy ‘links’. We will be relying on our readers to point out to us any omissions, or corrections, pertaining to photo captions. When we become aware of shortcomings we’ll do our utmost to bring them up to snuff. We are striving for an historical document, as accurate and thorough as possible. Our objective: to be of historical interest, not only for we who are yet living, but as a handy reference for future generations! Admitting to partiality, I feel that among us are many outstanding citizens who are a major benefit to our ongoing society as a whole.

We are members of a family who are most fortunate to have thus far remained quite close in our relationships. Although we live in various places of residence, meeting each year for a family reunion (the first full weekend in August), has assuredly been a helpmate in maintaining togetherness. We strive to give equal representation to all within this Flickr site. If you choose to email photos, or information, directly to me, please give us full particulars. Photos can be sent via email, or transmitted via the postal system. All photos appearing within will be of thumbnail size, but each can be enlarged on the screen for easier recognition of those within the picture. We intend to have many photos. Presenting them initially in a thumbnail size, will facilitate faster downloading time, and maximally reduce the necessary memory storage space.

Hopefully, this Larimer family site will be utilized by each of our fine members. With your ongoing cooperation, we will do our utmost to keep it current. Rest assured, the adoration I feel toward this handy keyboard, plus Michael’s (my alongside neighbor who happens to be a computer nerd) ongoing patient assistance, will result in this endeavor being truly a labor of love!
