I am based in Cornwall and have been interested in photography for many years, but in 2010 I made the move from a compact camera to DSLR and have been experimenting more.

I first started out with many different point and shoot cameras. Then I bought a Sony DSC H2 which had some manual controls, which helped with the experimenting.

I then upgraded to a Canon EOS 350D Rebel XT DSLR so that I could connect it to my 6inch telescope, great starter DSLR camera.

I then upgraded to a Canon EOS 40D, which has live view which is handy for the telescope. It has a few more extra functions than the 350D and takes a great images.

I have now upgraded to a Canon EOS 7D recently and I am currently playing around with the extra functions and settiings.
