I've been shooting digital for over 12 years, starting with a Canon Powershot A70 in July 2003. In February 2006 I made the switch to Nikon and got my first DSLR, a D50. On August 8th, 2008, I upgraded to a Nikon D300. After 5-½ years with the D300, I found that I was beginning to lose interest in photography, as "getting out the camera and lenses" and "lugging around the camera and lenses" was becoming a chore. In February 2014 I decided to get into the Fuji X Series compact series cameras and am having a photography epiphany!
I enjoy traveling, vacationing with my family, beaches, sun, nature, cooking, all things Disney, and my church. I like to shoot nature, architecture, my family, travel photography and have also dabbled in concert photography.
I live in the Midwest and have been here since 1997, although we want to relocate to sunny Florida in the next 5-7 years.
