I was fortunate to have attended The New School of Art in Toronto, Ontario in the 1960s. Then fortunately one day the artist Nobuo Kubota gave us a one-day workshop in batik fabric resist printing. After that I knew that fabric arts was "my calling".

I was among the very first years at Sheridan College in Ontario offering classes in Craft Arts. It was wonderful to experience 4 different craft possible choices ... yet fabrics still caught my heart.
