The University Writing and Research Symposium is an annual conference at the George Washington University, held this year on April 20-21, 2007, and organized by the University Writing Program. GW students present on original research begun in their first-year writing courses (UW20). Sessions are moderated by GW faculty, librarians, and upper level students, and by members of the Washington, D.C. community, and attended by all of the above. Photographs by Ryan Jerving.
