Sou um terrível e incorrigível curioso . Aliás, quanto mais aprendo e sei, mais curioso vou ficando. E gosto de aprender e saber de tudo, excepção feita à coscuvilhice que cada vez mais detesto; para não dizer que odeio, palavra feia, não é mesmo? Mas gosto sobretudo de conhecer a Vida e as pessoas; posso mesmo dizer que o meu maior prazer é viajar nos comboios do Metropolitano porque aí encontro o local ideal para estudar os traços do rosto e os gestos das pessoas que viajam a meu lado. Sobretudo o rosto, que revela, como livro aberto, o estado de espírito das pessoas. E a sua personalidade. Trata-se dum exercício que me transmite um verdadeiro prazer!

Mas aqui, neste espaço onde as pessoas expõem as suas fotos, também encontro um local priviligeado de pesquisa e conhecimento. E não me refiro ao muito que tenho aprendido em matéria de ciência e técnica de fotografia, que esse é também uma importante razão de cá estar; refiro-me ao facto de, através das imagens que são aqui postadas, ser posssível "catalogar" os gostos e interesses de cada um, mas, mais abrangentemente, a sua personalidade. E as variantes são tantas e tão variegadas que bem se pode dizer que não há aqui duas pessoas que sequer se possam assemelhar uma à outra. E é nessa variedade que consiste a riqueza de valores e o prazer de aqui estar. Confesso que tenho aqui aprendido muito e adquirido um sempre renovado motivo de alegria de viver e ser feliz.

Lamento que, certamente movida pela ganância que cada vez mais é denominador comum da humanidade, a gerência do Flikr tenha imposto regras e controlo financeiro que, na prática, ditou o afastamento de muitos bons elementos e a contenção forçada de muitos outros. Felizmente que o dinheiro, à medida que se vai tornando cada vez mais objectivo de vida (de alguns), também vai sofrendo uma progressiva corrosão, até dele nada restar. Lá chegaremos...

Y me gusta aprender y saber de todo, excepción hecha a los chismes que cada vez más detesto; para no decir que odio, palabra fea, ¿no es así? Pero me gusta sobre todo conocer la Vida y la gente; y puedo decir que mi mayor placer es viajar en los trenes del Metropolitano porque ahí encuentro el lugar ideal para estudiar los rasgos del rostro y los gestos de las personas que viajan a mi lado. Sobre todo el rostro, que revela, como libro abierto, el estado de espíritu de las personas. Y su personalidad. ¡Se trata de un ejercicio que me transmite un verdadero placer!

Pero aquí, en este espacio donde las personas exponen sus fotos, también encuentro un lugar privilegiado de investigación y conocimiento. Y no me refiero al mucho que he aprendido en materia de ciencia y técnica de fotografía, que ese es también una importante razón de estar aquí; me refiero al hecho de que, a través de las imágenes que se publican aquí, es posible "catalogar" los gustos e intereses de cada uno, pero, más ampliamente, su personalidad. Y las variantes son tantas y tan variegadas que bien se puede decir que no hay aquí dos personas que ni siquiera puedan asemejarse una a la otra. Y es en esa variedad que consiste en la riqueza de valores y el placer de aquí estar. Confieso que he aprendido mucho y adquirido un siempre renovado motivo de alegría de vivir y ser feliz.
