I have always loved photography. Digital has made it all so quick and creative! I am learning so much on Flickr, and have made many friends. It is delightful, fascinating, and at times very moving and awe-inspiring. Love to all my Flickr friends. I appreciate sharing here. It is so satisfying in our physically fragmented world.

My photostream showcases my eclectic approach to the life and environment around me! A mix of optical photographic experimentation, of beautiful flowers, thought-provoking designs, interesting still life images, intriguing human interest captures, and the list goes on and on! ... I hope there will never be a boring moment here!

I am a retired physicist (Ph.D., Physics, MIT, 1965). I live in Tucson, Arizona, Southwestern USA.

I love Ballet. I help out with studio and theatre photography at Arizona Ballet Theatre Company

I am a passionate photographer. It is my main hobby, and I am never without a camera. I enjoy all types of photography.

As an adult, I started photography with Nikon F film cameras and a variety of Nikkor lenses. I mainly used Kodachrome II film.

I have a Canon 70D with a variety of Canon lenses mainly for use in the theatre or the studio.

My main camera, currently, is a Canon PowerShot SX70 HS camera with a sixty times zoom and a reasonably wide angle at the lower end. It is quite sharp throughout its range, and it has an adjustible viewfinder.

I walk with the aid of a walking stick for stability. A major advantage of the SX70 HS is that it is small and light enough for me to carry around my neck. I also use an iPhone 12 Plus Max camera for photo-ops when my main camera is not available.
