Amateur photographer of the greenest kind. Having been a cameraless flickr addict for a long time, I finally decided in May 2007 it was time to join the fun.
I love my shiny new Canon EOS 400D but it still scares me because it's so much cleverer than I am.
I appreciate any comment, especially the critiques and hints and tips. I'm here to learn and get inspired and make friends. And if you happen to like one of my shots, please don't just drop an award and run, let me know what you think!

As I appear to have missed one of Jess Cartwright's flickr milestones I would like to mark the occasion with a long overdue testimonial to her creative talents. Not only is Jess a great photographer but she also has one of the sharpest wits on flickr. She has had me doubled up on more than one occasion with her hilarious descriptions accompanying excellent photographs. I can revisit "Just making a little adjustment" a dozen times and still laugh out loud. Jess is clearly a foodie, so dig in but be warned if you are not hungry you will be by the time you've reached the end, and I don't just mean for the food! Keep up the great work, I've really enjoyed your postings.
