Retired from my export packing and freight forwarding company in 1998. My interest in photography started some 30 years ago and at that time I was using a couple of Canon 35mm cameras and a variety of lenses and accessories. During much of this time I was a member of the Maidstone Camera club. My interest in photography remained keen until a move to Ashford, Kent, in 1998, meant that I had no darkroom space so the cameras were packed away and still remain in boxes in the loft! Fortunately five years ago I was introduced to the Ashford Photographic Society and my interest in photography was re kindled, this time with a Nikon D80 digital camera. I have since invested in a Nikon D7000 and a few new lenses lenses.
