Thank you for taking the time to look at my flickr photos.

I have always had a passion for photography - both admiring photographers at work and dabbling in picture taking myself. As a child I would gaze at National Geographic Magazines in awe (still do), and dream of visiting the unique and beautiful places photographed; appreciating the dedication given by each photographer in order to make this vision possible.

I continue to take photography courses, online webinars and gather info from photo magazines as there is no end to learning; my experience also comes from exploring my ideas and trial and error. My choice of equipment has mainly been Canon. I have used Canon AE1-Program (film), PowerShot A1000 IS, PowerShot S5 IS, and my newly acquired 60D with lenses Canon 15-85mm, Canon Macro 100mm and Tamron 18-270mm.

I like keeping my images as natural as possible. My photos are relatively untouched, capturing the vision of the moment. The exception would be a cropped version or sharpening of a picture. I prefer natural outdoor lighting.

Every picture tells a story as everyone sees things differently. Creativity is individual. These photos are a selection of my work as interpreted "through my eyes".
