Growing up in Wetzlar with a connection to that local camera manufacturer, there is no way not connecting in photography. At 14 I got my first Leica, a IIIg from 1956, which is still in use by my daughter. As a student I then photographed with an analog DSLR. Later, with family and job, interest waned. In 2012 I found my way back to photography with a digital dslr.

Besides the GAS (gear acquisition syndrome), photography for me means mainly to see, to see much more consciously and to observe in more detail.
