First, thanks for taking the time to read my profile!

Despite I've been using cameras for about 20 years, this is my first attempt to be a photographer. I'm not trying to pursue any specific subject or technique. My photos are more like a "serendipitous" path: I shoot whatever attracts my attention. Sometimes I also like to experiment.

Since I'm a beginner who's trying to learn, most of my photos are Photoshop-free or just minimally processed. However, some of them are cropped, especially when I couldn't go closer to shoot because of some obstacle - a fence, water, ... - or the fear of ruining the pose/expression of the subject or the atmosphere. Given my approach, you might see some pictures in my photostream with wrong framing, exposure, white/color balance, etc. but I also hope my photostream shows the progress I make! :-)

Your comments and suggestions are welcome, as well as criticisms - as long as they are constructive and polite. Trolls, haters, spammers will be blocked immediately.

Last but not least, I've recently (Nov 2013) set the license to all my photos to Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND), that means you can download and share my photos as long as you credit me, but you can’t change them in any way or use them commercially. Also, it would be nice to know where my photos are shared/posted/printed, so I'd love it if you email me at withoutanickname3@yahoo.com with some details. Thanks!
