Hi, I'm Yana. I'm originally from Krasnodar, Russia. It's in the south and it's not cold there, contrary to the general assumption. I'm starting a BA in Commercial Photography this year and I'm very excited! I started photography as a hobby in Australia in 2001 where I spent 6 months as an exchange student. I'm taking it pretty seriously now though I still yet have to find my niche (although I'm pretty sure it will be the flowers!) I also do a lot of self-portraits because usually when I'm struck with a photoidea, there are no models nearby. I've had exhibitions in Krasnodar (twice), Moscow, Harbin (China) and Karlsruhe (Germany).

As for equipment, I shoot with Canon 1Ds Mk III and Leica X1. Lenses: 8-15mm Fisheye 4L, 16-35mm 2.8L, 24-70mm 2.8L, 24-105mm 4L, 28-300mm 4L, TSE 17mm 3.5L, 50mm 1.2L, 100mm 2.8L Macro, 135mm 2.0L, 50mm 1.8 II.
