Welcome to Diwopa Catholic Primary School, a centre of discipline, spiritual growth and academic excellence. Diwopa Catholic Primary School is a church-based institution run by the congregation of Catholic priests called Society of the Divine Word (SVD) based in Kayole Parish, Nairobi. The name DIWOPA is thus an acronym derived from the name of the Parish (DIVINE WORD PARISH). In spite of the strong Catholic set up, the school offers holistic education to all learners irrespective of their various denominations and religious affiliations. DIWOPA Catholic Primary School offers the 8-4-4 curriculum and currently offers education for pupils from baby class, all the way up to Class 8 level. The school has developed under the able hands of its director, Father William Owire, SVD. He works in collaboration with a dedicated team of staff led by the head teacher, Mrs. Faith Kikumbi and her deputy, Mr. Oloo O. S, who also doubles as the school’s Academic Dean.
