I am retired, grandmother of 14, mother of 4 and great grandmother of 3. I have a stand at the River City Farmers Market in Marietta, Oh, where you can find me most Saturdays all year long. I have made and sold jams and jellies for the past 7 years there, but as I get older I'm finding what I use to love, to be more of a challenge and painful than enjoyable, therefore have changed from jelly to jewelry and wind chimes.
My good friend Kate Mulligan convinced me to take up wire wrapped jewelry as a craft and I must admit that I enjoy it immensely. I've only just started a month ago but already have sold several pieces.
My husband and I have 2 greenhouses where we grow herbs, and vegetable plants which we sell from our home as well as the farmers market.
