I'm a semi-middle-aged guy who -- after several years spent working in the television industry (and it is an industry) -- was fortunate enough to switch over from documentary production (i.e.: Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC, etc...) to the slightly less-crazed world of editorial and landscape photography. Because of my career change, I know carry around a lot less baggage -- both physical and emotional.
Myself, I have an addiction to travel -- and I have an addiction to jobs that place me into "interesting" situations with "interesting" people.
So far, when I've gotten myself into trouble, I've been able to get myself out of trouble.
Like just about everyone else these days I do have a blog, though I'm actually quite good about maintaining it and placing new (and varied) content up on fairly regular basis. You can head on over to it by visiting The Global Photographer.
My "official" photography website can also be visited by going here. I have to admit that I'm much better about maintaining my blogsite rather than my website, as the blog is simply much easier to update.
