I have a great passion for working in design and creativity using many medias including web design, graphic design, experimental music and experimental visual arts. My latest work includes running the experimental music and video regular events called the bITjAM. This project has helped many new and inspiring artists develop their skills in a live arena as well as developing my own skills in improvised music. The bITjAM has now been involved in a variety of art exhibitions, sound installations and events around the UK.

I work during the day as a clinical caseload manager for the NHS, I qualified as a registered Mental Health Nurse in 2002 and I have been involved in the healthcare field for the majority of my working life. During my work in healthcare I combine ideas from design and the creative fields such as designing websites for the NHS, recording and mixing relaxation CD's, running workshops incorporating creativity as well as promotional material.

Much of my work is based on the ideas from Solution Focused practice which has 3 simple elements that guides my practice:

* If it works do more of it

* If it doesn't work do something else

* If it isn't broken don't fix it
