A life long interest in bird watching which was recently rekindled. It keeps me sane and in the fresh air. Have also been keen on photography and wildlife art. Now I combine them by attempting to get good images of biology, mainly of the feathered variety! Currently have a fairly old Canon 400D and a couple of Sigma lenses and a new Tamron 90mm macro which give me great enjoyment. When funds allow I'd like to develop the kit but for now...

As of January 2013, have bought (at great expense and at great feelings of guilt) a Canon 7D and a Canon telephoto lens (100-400mm). I still love the 400D. Simple and easy to use. Good pics. Does anyone actually read this?r
