I started photography in 2012 when I bought my daughter a used Olympus E-500 and wanted to learn how to use it before I gave it to her for her birthday, I had so much fun playing with it and learning how to use it that when she received hers I bought an E-520 for myself. We had some great times traveling around, spending time together, and taking photos. Eventually I replaced the Olympus' with a couple of Nikon's, a D5200 for my daughter and a D7000 for me. Update: I recently found a Nikon D500 for sale at a local shop for $1000 off MSRP!. A gentleman bought it and didn't okay the purchase his spouse and she told him to take it back. It then sat in the store for over six months as an "Open Box" deal. They finally dropped the price just to get rid of it, and I just happened to walk in and see it. I love a good deal.

I enjoy taking photos of everything, from cars, sports, travel, highland dance, nature, to family. Along the way, I've made a little bit of money and made a few people happy by giving my photos away for free. I love learning about how to take better photos and Flickr has been a great source of learning material. Recently, I've begun adding my photos to groups. For me, this is a big step as I finally feel comfortable with putting my pics out to a broader audience,
