As well as using polymer clay in my creations I also use semi precious stones, freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals.

I love making my own beads out of polymer clay.These days I find that I am veering more towards polymer clay as I find I can be more creative with this medium. And also it is something that I can enjoy doing and teaching my grandaughter .

I also find that by using polymer clay I am not as restricted to just jewellery/jewelry but also other items as well.

Before I started making jewellery I was also an avid fan of dressmaking and photography. I find that they each in a way can meld together.

My screen name Cariad Jewelry Box. Well I am fortunate to live in a very beautiful part of the world with our own language. The place is called Wales and our national language is Welsh. The name Cariad means Love in english.
