I am a photographer.....

I have been a commercial photographer for 30 years with my own studio for 22 years. i have lived through film and the digital transition, it hurt for many years as i seen digital as a attack on the chemical invention photography is and always will be but now i embrace it for what it is. My heart lies in real photography and there is nothing that we do/shoot that has not been done before, my old tutor said before you even start to take photographs spend a year in the library looking at the masters of photography then start to take photographs.

Flickr is a good place to be both great and good bad and wonderful but at the end photography is alive and well. that cant be bad.
