A holiday snap noodler of many years standing. I joined flickr in 2007 and it has changed not only how I take photos but how I look at everything. The quality, range and sheer numbers of images here is amazing, humbling and a little frightening. And the comment is informative and fun too!
Cameras - started with a Ricoh GR Digital.
Flickr research led to a DSLR - Pentax K10D a couple of years ago. I discovered old manual lenses and found this to be a much more involving approach to photography.
Then discovered 'bokeh' and M42 lenses (!)
At this rate I reckon I'll discover 'film' in about a year's time...UPDATE, Feb 2009: yes i now have started shooting a little film..
currently most of my favourite photos on Flickr are medium format. But it ain't cheap
The problem with MF for me has been the scanning. So although it produces the images that give me the most emotional response, I got a LX3 as it's easy to carry round.

In 2008 walked the Camino de Santiago: St Jean Pied de Port to Finisterre (550 miles) which was amazing. Then in 2010 the via de la plata and took some pics (recording the journey as a set). Photos uploaded under the name of www.flickr.com/photos/peregrino_tom/
