I'm back in America working and saving. Preparing for wherever I'll go next.

I've been blessed to work in some exciting places over the years and most of the photos you will find on my account are from a year long stint in Nepal. My team members and I worked hard setting up an aid organization. We did literally all the groundwork to set some deep roots and try to make an impact in Nepal and Asia.

Previously I was in Nepal for about 2 weeks on a trek around a portion of Annapurna. I have never seen mountains that were quite so pristine as I saw over those few weeks. I hope my work will soon take me up into the mountains and out of Kathmandu. The city is great, don't get me wrong, but an escape to the jagged cliffs, crude houses, raging rivers, and fresh squeezed buckthorn juice is like paradise to me!

I've seen some things in my life already and have much more yet to see. I love photography, though I know nothing about it, and hope to share some of the excitement I experience on a daily basis with everyone who is willing.

My weapon of choice is a Minolta Maxxum 5D. I have only 2 lenses and a small handful of filters. If you would like to donate a lens I won't refuse it! :)

I hail from the rugged state of Colorado. Most of my friends and family live there. I have been spending the last 10 years slowly working my way through a college degree. Surveying and mapping is the current endeavor. But finances, military deployments, opportunities to spend time overseas working, and life in general seem to be roadblocks to getting that piece of paper. Some day.

If you enjoy my photographs then let me know by leaving a comment. I appreciate feedback and insight.
