I live on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands off the West coast of Washington State. I have been creating artwork for the past 50 yrs. using a variety of mediums. I like to walk, read, do art, watch movies and listen to smooth Jazz. My current favorite medium is Temari, a Japanese embroidery form that I began exploring in 2010 and have been fascinated with ever since. It is a geometry based medium using thread as are the beaded spheres I've created for the last 30 years. The very fine details of these two mediums as well as painting techniques. Many quiet and contemplative hours on each sphere to bring each one into manifestation. I hope you will enjoy your tour through my site and work.

HA!! Unlike knottyboy, I barely know Judy, but from the very moment I saw her art I was mesmerized!!! And of course her photography is of the same level, absolutely incredible. I am honored to be in her presence...

I've known Judy as a dear friend and artist for years. I've always been in awe of her talent and expression through glass beads, thread and leather. She never lets her art stagnate as can be seen in her Space Zoo creatures...ever evolving. Love and hugs, Wayne Noffsinger
