I love the outdoors and especially the deep woods and swamps of Maine. I spend a lot of time fishing and exploring, especially the harder to reach places well off the beaten track. I enjoy blackflies, misquitoes,deer flies, moose flies, and mingees. If they're biting heavy then usually the fishing is good. I will slog thru thick alders, balance on slippery logs and rocks, walk lightly on floating moss bogs, all to get to spots that may hold the wiley brook trout. Why? I love it.

I love Maine, its woods and its camps, and sometimes wonder why I don't live in some backwoods shack. Oh, thats right, I'm married....thats why. Someday maybe.
